We are no longer shipping single books in Priority Padded Flat Rate Envelopes for any U.S. orders. We have been getting a lot of emails with concerns about books being damaged during shipment that we've decided it is best we ship media mail in a box for orders that contain ONE book. If you would like your book shipped PRIORITY MAIL in a box it does cost more, as we will have to ship your book in a medium flat rate box.

We are currently requiring books from different authors to be ordered and shipped separately. Please do not order books from multiple authors in one order.
Orders including books from multiple signings will be CANCELLED and you will need to re-order your books separately. - We have disabled the "customer account" feature. If you need to check on an order, update an address or email address, etc. please contact us here.
- IF YOUR BOOK IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING: We CANNOT replace your book. We do not work for the book store, but rather order through the book store to get your books signed on the author's schedule. Therefore, we do not have extra copies to exchange a damaged copy. If your book is damaged during shipping you will need to file a claim with USPS (IF you paid for priority shipping, which includes insurance) or try to go into a Barnes & Noble in your area to exchange it. Unfortunately once we ship your book, we cannot control how it is handled. This is why we recommend you choose Priority Shipping at checkout - so that in the event of damages, you are able to file a claim with USPS.
- If you order from multiple signings at once, your books may be shipped when the last signing ends. If you want your books to ship as they are released, please order them separately and pay appropriate shipping.
- In some cases we may ship small orders separately in order to prevent over-storage. If you do NOT want your order separated, please let us know by placing a note in the comments or emailing us directly.
- If you order more than 6 books (US) or more than 8 books (INT), you will be undercharged for shipping, therefore YOU WILL BE INVOICED FOR THE REMAINING SHIPPING COSTS. If you are unable to pay remaining shipping costs, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
- If there is a pre-order incentive available with any given signing, we may need to share your shipping address with the author, publisher, or agency if they are responsible for shipping you the items. By purchasing, you are giving us permission to share your shipping address with the appropriate agency.
- Please double check to be sure you are ordering the correct book. Once the signing has ended and an order has been placed with the bookstore, we cannot change your order.
- If you think you have ordered from one of our signings but aren't sure, feel free to email us and we will check for you. We will likely not notice duplicate orders, so if you accidentally order twice, please let us know before the signing ends. Refunds will NOT be issued if you notice after the refund deadline has passed.
- Books will be signed around the author's schedule, therefore, we cannot *always* ship your order the day the book releases. This is a fluid process that will vary from signing to signing. Visit the authors website for tour information.
- Priority mail for U.S. Readers takes 2-3 business days to arrive. Priority mail comes with free insurance up to $50 and free tracking number. For international readers, Priority Mail takes 6-10 business days. Sometimes a bit longer depending on your country. We recommend you choose this option in case damages occur during shipping.
- Refunds are allowed up until the signing ends. All refund requests made AFTER this time frame will be denied as all books have already been ordered and preparations for the signing have begun.
- Good Choice Reading nor the authors are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged mail. We prefer to ship priority mail because it includes free insurance on your package. In the event any of the above takes place, a claim will need to be filed with the USPS.
- International: We have had a couple of incidents where a package has been returned to us due to it not being claimed. In the event that this should take place an additional shipping cost is required in order to re-ship the package. No refunds will be granted as the book was ordered, signed, shipped and reached its destination. It is your responsibility to keep track of your package and claim it. Once the package leaves the United States we no longer have any control over it.
- All packages will be shipped to the mailing address added at check out. Please make sure to update your shipping information. If your address differs from the one on your PayPal account/Invoice, please email Events@goodchoicereading.com immediately so that we can update our records.
- Shipping & Handling and taxes will be added at check-out. It will go according to your country and/or the number of books you order.
- Before placing your order there is an option to enter an email address and who you would like the book personalized to. Please double check spelling. If you do not wish to have the book personalized simply put "just signed". We will have the author just sign the book with no name.
- For signings including personalizations, we cannot guarantee any author will have time to sign anything beyond YOUR NAME. If you choose to include a quote as checkout, we will put in the request, but we can't guarantee that it will be included.
